Precision Engineering in Defense Manufacturing

In the defense industry, the quality of surface treatment for artillery shell cases is not just about aesthetics—it's about safety and performance. Any residue or uneven roughness can affect the ballistic properties or the reliability of the shell.

The Kingwo Approach

Our multi-station sandblasting machines are engineered to handle calibers from φ4.5mm to φ155mm with a batch consistency rate of ≥99.8%.

Key Technical Challenges:

  1. Internal Cavity Access: Reaching the deep bottom of the shell case without damaging the walls.
  2. Uniform Roughness: Achieving a consistent Ra0.8μm to Ra6.3μm across the entire surface.
  3. High Throughput: Maintaining quality while processing hundreds of units per hour.

Our Solution

We utilize specialized internal nozzles and high-precision guide wheels to ensure the abrasive hits every millimeter of the target surface. Our automated control systems monitor pressure (0.4~0.7MPa) in real-time to prevent over-blasting.

"Kingwo doesn't sell standard products; we sell the engineering capability to solve complex, unique surface treatment needs."

Stay tuned for more technical insights into our non-standard solutions.
